Becky and I wanted to send you the warmest of thank you messages for everything you did for our special day! Our wedding ceremony and reception was exactly what our dreams were made of when it came to this day. Everything from the beautiful layout of each area, the incredible food, and top-level of perfection in service are just a few of the elements that made this day memorable forever, for all of the right reasons!
Our guests were absolutely blown away by everything, as were the two of us. You truly went above and beyond any kind of goal or expectation, not just on the wedding day itself, but each and every day leading up to it. The team we had at our reception for serving dinner and bartending was immaculate as well, so please pass our thank you on to them as well. I apologize that I did not catch their names.
Vintage Hotels and The Prince of Wales made our wedding dreams come true and for that, Becky and I thank you beyond any words could ever describe. From the time that we began the process of planning our wedding, we knew we would have it at Pillar and Post (it’s where we met). But we were pleasantly surprised by the kind and friendly staff. Stephanie and Deidre are really the reason why we booked our wedding here — they were so helpful and made us feel like we could trust that our wedding would come alive how we imagined it. Savanna took our vision and really helped us with all of the little details. She never seemed annoyed by our questions and was always one step ahead on the day. It was really a stress free day (and planning) and a large part of that goes to Savanna. We were really pleased with the staff who bartended and helped clean the room at the end of the night — again, it really helped to make the day feel stress-free. Peter at the front desk assisted with post-wedding details regarding our rooms and made our guests feel comfortable. Richard and I would like to express how wonderful our wedding day was at the Prince of Wales on October lst. Any request made to your staff was immediately taken care of and everyone was gracious and accommodating.
The V&A Ballroom looked spectacular for our reception – thank you Kaitlin for rising to all challenges including last minute seating changes. Our compliments to your chef on the wonderful plated meal. Every course was over and above our expectations. And although we did not personally taste test any appetizers due to our carriage ride, our guests said they were simply perfect.
I’d like to also thank you for our fabulous bridal suite – which was large enough to handle a photography shoot and countless guests coming and going, writing of speeches, hairdressers and makeup artists, etc. Can’t wait to see our pictures which I am sure will be gorgeous.

The Queen’s Landing Team worked together to provide a magical time for both of us (bride & groom) as well as our guests. As one of the guests remarked, “Now we have just had our Royal Wedding”. Having the wedding, reception, and hotel in a fairytale like setting fulfilled so many of our dreams.
When we first went to meet about our wedding a year ago, we met initially with a wonderful person from the restaurant staff (Karen) who genuinely cared about us, looked after us, and this was just the beginning.
On the day of the wedding, Teri made sure all of the details were taken care of and went seamlessly . . . ensuring we did not have any distractions, to take away from our special day. At the reception, our guests were treated special, as they are. While we were getting our photos taken around the magical grounds, our guests were being kept informed of the itinerary by the Queen’s Landing staff. We did not have to worry about anything.
Karen provided us with personalized attention during and after our reception (even having a late night snack sent to our room), to be sure this was a fairy tale wedding experience.
After the wedding, we have received so many comments about the wonderful grounds and staff at the Queen’s Landing. The food that was served to us was wonderfully presented and had the most exquisite tastes.
One of the most common comments from our guests was that they enjoyed the wedding so much that they wished they could do the wedding all over again.

Matthew and I are absolutely thrilled with how our wedding day unfolded. All of our friends and family are still talking about how perfect the day was! The evening, canldlelit service was intimate and personal and The Gallery was the perfect backdrop. There was even a water table set up so that our guests could keep hydrated on a very warm day while waiting for the ceremony to begin. The hall was nicely set up for the reception. Our wedding at the Pillar and Post was such an amazing day. The Upper Canada Room is so beautiful. It has such a warm and welcoming feel to it which made our wedding feel so intimate.
Having Savanna as our wedding coordinator made everything so simple. On the most stressful day of our lives, I knew I was in good hands. No detail went unnoticed and it is evident that Savanna takes a lot of pride in her job. Having to move to the rain room last minue to do our ceremony was so seamless thanks to Savanna. The room was absolutely gorgeous and now looking back I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. It was perfect.
Stephanie Allen was also a great help with the initial booking. She is so friendly and always willing to answer any questions I had. The level of service from the banquet staff was top notch. 2 people stood out to me (sorry, I can’t remember names) – the banquet captain always made sure the head table was happy and also prepared our MC with his timing for the next speech. There was also another girl that went out of her way to get Scott food before we opened the doors to the receiving line. She was fantastic all through the night.
The quality of the food was excellent and the timing in between courses was perfect. I received so much positive feedback about the food.
Scott and I were in great hands with all of the staff at Pillar and Post. The day ran so smoothly that I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Everyone from Tenille, Tery, Frank and Kurt at the front desk, to Liz in housekeeping, the security team, Hudson in Bacchus, EVERYONE I came in contact with was so friendly, kind and bent over backwards to help us at every turn. Stephanie, Deidre and Savanna were a pleasure to work with from day one. Stephanie and Deidre were our first points of contact, and there were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and drafting (and re-drafting) a contract that met out needs. We then met with Savanna who was absolutely amazing and catered to our every need. She demonstrated enormous amount of patience when answering all of our one million questions. When it came to the day of our wedding, she made sure that everything went off brilliantly. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did and we’re going to miss working with her. On top of that, all of the Pillar and Post staff were outstanding and we thank them all so much for helping make our day the absolute greatest

From helping us choose our menu, putting up with us changing our minds a million times regarding the wines, even moving a meeting scheduled in the Three Feathers room the day of our ceremony- you truly went out of your way to make our day so special!
The ceremony room was so beautiful! It really photographed so well- as did your whole hotel! The Hampton court was spectacular as well. The food was the BEST meal we have had in our lives for sure! Wow!
We really enjoyed our celebration and we feel so honoured and fortunate to have chosen The Prince of Wales for our wedding! Our suite was amazing- thank you for all you did in setting up extra chairs for our guests. They all had a blast!
